  So Maplins are having a closing down sale starting with a 10% discount...!! I find that figure both amusing and sad. Why are they closing down all there UK stores..?? They were totally ignorant of competition from the web for 15 years ++.There price structure was so high most customers just went into there stores for viewing purposes and a quick social with no intent in buying any goods unless they were on sale / reduced dramatically. !! But even then it was far still cheaper to buy from Amazon on every occasion..!! Maplins...how not to run a store..
